What we do
Dropship automation
Labels, packing slips and pick tickets in one email before the warehouse opens.
How it worksRetailer files
GXS catalog files, Nordstrom 886 and IIF checks, and NRF sizes, straight from ApparelMagic.
How it worksCustomer reports
A clean availability report to each wholesale customer, on a schedule, showing only what they buy.
How it worksCustom reports
ApparelMagic reports built around how you actually run, starting with cut and sold.
How it worksNordstrom tracking
Know what Nordstrom is showing shoppers: stock, prices and which styles are listed.
How it worksWho it fits
- You run ApparelMagic on the Enterprise plan, which includes API access.
- You ship dropship orders yourself and buy labels in ShipStation.
- You sell dropship to major retailers: Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's, Walmart, Target, JCPenney, Kohl's, Saks and others.
- Someone on your team loses the first hours of every day to it.
- A 3PL prints your labels. The retailer files still apply; the daily run does not.
- You ship a handful of dropship orders a week. Doing it by hand is fine.
- You want a one-time script and no one to call when a retailer changes its slip.
Field notes
- ApparelMagic
ApparelMagic said 200. Nothing happened.
Allocate on a Pending order, an invoice read-back that lags, and errors that arrive as success.
- ApparelMagic
Why page 2 of your ApparelMagic query is page 1 again
Page numbers were retired in 2023. The bug stays hidden until the day it skips today's orders.
- EDI
The purchase order that came back
A retailer resent a shipped PO. Every field said it was new. Why the check has to fail closed.
Who runs this
I'm Morris Massel. I run operations at a menswear wholesaler founded in 1949 that sells to department stores and specialty retailers. The daily run on this site ships our own orders every business day. Before that I spent seventeen years as a restructuring lawyer, which is where I learned to read the fine print, including the fine print in an API.
